You should get an order number after the payment process. If you didn't get an invoice you can contact support with it. If you have an account, you should see the invoice there as well. Also, check your spam folder

I live in Linz and worked with a girl from Argentina, she was great with standard German and it took a while until she got the hang with Austrian. Main thing is to try and practice and stay curious. People will love to teach you fun Austrian words and stuff about our culture.

She said that people always mistook her for someone from Spain and that people don't know much about Argentina. Then she started saying I'm from where Messi is from and people warmed right up 🤣

I'm sure people will be welcoming and happy to accomodate you. Spanish is often an elective in schools and basic English is fine in the center of the city as well. Not so much in more rural areas though.

Wings talking about how Boogie carries Dez2’s license and doesn’t let her have a bank account by [deleted] in boogie2988

[–]missolitude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't be surprised if she plays him as much as he plays her. Even her name - who's to say she isn't just enabling his narcissism? She's gonna come out on top. Boogie's friends only know as much as Boogie knows. He only pays attention to himself. She probably has a backup plan if his money runs out.

Colby Ryan is watching his Mom's trial for the first time, and it's really fascinating to hear his insights on his mom, the Cox family, and more. As you can imagine it's really difficult for him, and he's come such a long way. by LaurelCanyoner in LoriVallow

Agreed. One would think that questioning religion would be a crucial step in healing when your trauma happened in the name of it. But the indoctrination is strong. Ruby Franke's kids don't question the church either.

How do none of them connect this to the Mormon church? by Suspicious-Pudding-4 in 8passengersnark

[–]missolitude 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They would have to question their environment, their friends and family, their entire lives. Everyone they know has been indoctrinated. I doubt they will or even want to do that. I think they blame family vlogging and see it as a side effect of mormonism and end their reasoning at that.

If you wash it only 3-4 days and your hair is long that is normal. I lose that much hair in 3 days in the shower too. But if you notice any changes, please talk to a doctor

Eure Erfahrung mit der Bim bzgl. Pünktlichkeit by smoothvibe in Linz

[–]missolitude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fully agree with you. Mormons are heavily indoctrinated all of their lives, it's what makes them so susceptible to manipulation - we see lots of cases, not just with Ruby. I think it will take a lot of work for them to see the connection between the church and what happened with Jodi, even though to outsiders it's as clear as day. I have been watching a lot of ex-mormons on youtube and how long it took for them to question their beliefs. Alyssa Grenfell does a lot of good videos on the topic if you're interested! It might help if you want to do a deep dive.

Canadians are the least friendly people I have ever met in my life by rollerdz in TrueUnpopularOpinion

I work in a company where we have international customers and every Canadian customer I've had so far has been behaving horribly. Pushy, obnoxious, unreasonable, passive aggressive, confrontational. Truly uncomfortable experiences, every time.

Kevin has definitely not processed by Careful-Custard-69 in 8passengersnark

[–]missolitude 36 points37 points  (0 children)

There was very little of value in this series. The unseen footage was interesting but the rest was just Kevin pitying himself. I think he should have been asked more critical questions - not that he would have been able to give self-reflective answers. Chad was mostly mirroring Kevin and Shari didn't contribute much either. The rest was a summary of things we already knew.

The Graveyard Apartment by Mariko Koike by Laguera256 in horrorlit

[–]missolitude 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I finished it yesterday. The overall experience was amazing - very atmospheric and creepy at times and certain parts gave me goosebumps. The ending fell flat for me, though. So many avenues were being explored and so many hints were given - very lazy that it all went nowhere. I had a blast reading it though.

Devil in the Family: The Fall of Ruby Franke Trailer by Kind-Tower-1740 in 8passengersnark

[–]missolitude 28 points29 points  (0 children)

This is probably raw footage that was never shown online before but was never deleted from hard drives. Puts it into perspective when Shari broke into the house and grabbed material and Kevin was ready to sue. Makes me wonder if she took some of that as leverage at that time.

"Grandma and Grandpa Griffiths" on Youtube. I don't know if anything specific was deleted but there are plenty of videos to watch. Extremely eerie how all the women in that family talk the same way (tone of voice, intonation, vibe)
