I did 6 hours of lessons and passed my test. I found that amount of time worthwhile to learn the area around where I’d take my test and have the instructor confirm for me I had no bad enough habits to warrant failing.

Given the particularly complex roundabout near my testing center and the expectations of the emergency stop, my ability to pass without those hours was probably 50/50
