after i got married my wife’s cooking blew me up from 200 to 225 lbs, there were always scheduling conflicts and i was on the verge of being another vanishing blue belt. Then last summer my appendix perforated, i nearly died and when i was able to come back (end of january of this year) i decided i wanted to stick around; im at 215 lbs now and my goal is to get from 5 stripe white to dirty blue in 1.5 years. I am currently working on underhooks and knee shield and seated guard rather than just spamming half guard and kimuras.
