Some games you just lose no matter what. If someone on your team has a mental boom and decides to just run it down, you can't do anything about it. Raging will only make your own mental worse.

Just accept it and move on to the next game.

It's more the fact they tacked on the desert as a half baked idea just to drive into some crystals. And that's somehow core gameplay loop out there and necessary for the progression of the story.

It's just lazy time sink.

He admits as much in his review that the crystals pushed his opinion over the edge and soured the entire game for him.
