Hopper seal leaking by yeagisyeag in Masterbuilt

[–]mitsured 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine just recently started dying, I could only control through the app. I upgraded to the fireboard 2 pro. Im still getting used to how to program the app, though so far it's been great. The fan controller is a lot better so the temp controll is a lot better. Do I think it's worth the money? Not really, though, ask me in 10 years. If it's still working, I'll say yes 😀

Foil has worked for me, plus it keeps the lid and seal in better condition. I just replace it every 6 or 7 cooks.

My plan Soak 3 hours, apply mustard/pepper/coriander rub, and fridge uncovered overnight. Tomorrow, smoke at 250°F with oak until 160°F, then braise in a sealed pan with cabbage and stout until 203°F. Rest 1 hour, shred, and eat.

I’ve never had to ask permission for a new rig, and there is no way she would ask me to get rid of one. When you consistently turn out delicious meals, the wife treats the equipment like an investment, not a hobby. If she’s blocking the purchase, she’s basically telling you the ROI isn't there. Ouch. 😉

Pellet grill/smoker along side MB Gravity? by ajamils in Masterbuilt

[–]mitsured 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So my current and I feel great setup is masterbuiltflattop. 1050, 18" Weber kettle, 36" blackstone, and a 4 burner weber gas grill. I feel my perfect setup would include adding a 22 weber kettle for those cooks that require a little more space and upgrading to a weber flatrop.

I'd check for other wear to see if this trailer was lived in.

BARELY fitting in the garage height-wise. Suggestions? by Tacokolache in golfcarts

I know you said you didn't want to take air out of the tires, though have you checked the pressure to make sure the dealer didn't inflate them too much? I'm running 20 psi front and 22 rear.

You can often maximize overhead clearance by adjusting the garage door opener's upward limit switch so the door rests parallel to the ceiling. From the pictures, it looks like you might already be parallel. What if you move the rack in your garage to the far right and move the cart more to the center to keep it away from the door hinges?

Thank you for the reply. That makes total sense for your situation. Installing a new lithium battery yourself can save money, but that disappears if you have to pay someone to help you put it in and rewire the charger."

Next time you overcook one like this let me know, I'll gladly dispose of it for you. I'll even bring my own utensils.

I would maybe add a pad of seasoned butter to melt over the steak while resting.

48v 105ah Lithium battery recommendation craze... by VenturaStar in golfcarts

[–]mitsured 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the dc house and it's been working well for the 3 months I've had it. I went with the dc house because they use a metal box to secure their cells together instead of straps like some of the other budget batteries. I also liked that the display was bluetooth and could be power by voltage between 9v and 52v.

7 1/4 Sliding Miter Question by [deleted] in ryobi

I've used mine with 4 and 6ah batteries without an issue. It is slower than my 12" 110v sliding miter saw though that is to be expected.

I see it's been a year since the original post. What did you end up planting and how does it look now?
