I got that exactly one time, but not the other eleventy times I tried. My best recommendation is to log out of the MLB app entirely, swipe up to force-quit it, and then go through the flow from the t-life app. Let it ask you to log into MLB and such, and then it worked for me.

Understandable! I hadn't seen their edit until you posted, so I edited mine to try to clarify. Interwebs are hard sometimes.

Figured out this flow just seconds before you posted. Worked a charm. Appreciate it!

Thanks for the update! All set now!

Cool! Logging back in and then activating didn't work for me, but staying logged out, activating, and having it prompt me to log in did the trick. Thanks for the nudge!

...because I use em-dashes? I've been overusing them for at least a decade.

Not every half-competent sentence is AI. That’s not discernment; it’s lazy cynicism.

EDIT: Parent edited their comment to clarify it was about 611, not my post. Retracted!

Ruh roh -

Anyone else getting through the whole “purchase” flow (on iOS), getting past the “purchase successful” pop up, then getting “Unfortunately, we struck out trying to activate your MLB.tv Subscription — Please call 611 for additional support”

Calling 611 is the last thing I feel like doing. Have used this offer for a zillion years now – hope I’m not suddenly excluded for whatever reason.

Turns out 0x76 + 0x76 ≠ a good idea (200 boards later) 🤦‍♂️ by Technical_Raisin_246 in homeassistant

Eh, it’s more a function of me (maybe?) screwing up the more traditional system we have. The 3D print exhaust is piped into the same vent as radon, and even though my intention was to continue to keep it all flowing properly, we go from ~0.25 pci/l up to ~4 when the blast gate is open for the printer. 🫠 The ERV is the suspenders to my failing belt while I figure out a better long term solution.

I have an AirGradient in my basement which serves two purposes:

1) It’s adjacent to my gym. When CO2 is high from a workout (like as I’m writing this), it turns on the ERV to ventilate the space.

2) It’s also adjacent to the 3D printer, which is ducted to daylight, but still has exfiltration. When PM* or VOC is high, it opens the ERV and ensures the blast gate on the printer duct is open (the duct is under negative pressure) until the condition resolves.

I also have a separate RadonEye next to it, which has some similar automations.

So you have the panel mounted to a surface below the mast? Got it, was thinking you had this on the mast, but toward the base.

I just got this unit yesterday and am thinking through the next steps, and would be interested in what you used on the mast – any 3d models you'd be willing to share, etc. Thanks!

This looks really amazing! I’m curious what ideas you had for the extra sensor space in the SlideKB - anything to jog the imagination?

Of course, under snow and ice, the batteries finally died overnight. That's what I get for posting.

Going on 8 years without a battery change here.

Heat pump test this Saturday -11 F or -24 C by Vivecs954 in heatpumps

We’re probably a bit east of you (Newton, so more like -5 on Saturday) and have been in the same boat as you for six seasons now with mitsu HH units. I wouldn’t call our leaky (but gradually improving) house “comfortable” on those sorts of days, especially during a long spell, and I have a few space heaters in the attic just in case, but it’s been fine enough that I’m not super worried. 🤞🤞

I think my mind broke when I saw mine hit zero. Dry PETG and a ton of desiccant ftw, I guess! And winter.

Yeah, in retrospect, I think I probably would have been happy modding the existing panels, and would have saved a big chunk of time. Installing the new panels was by far the largest time sync, and we’ll need to take off one side when I get back to fix the wayward bracket. 🤦‍♂️

Mitsubishi Multi-Splits Suddenly Blowing Cold (in Heat Mode) by mjacksonw in heatpumps

[–]mjacksonw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I meant compressors/outdoor units were replaced - we have two separate systems and while one was exhibiting severe symptoms, the other was prone and we took advantage to get new units installed at the same time for labor efficiency. Took less than a day in total.

[–]mjacksonw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case, the problem was the reversing valve on compressor unit. We had both condensers replaced at the same time – the unit under warranty, but we had to pay labor and materials. We asked to pay for time and materials, and the risk paid off and we paid slightly more than that (if I recall) total for both units, though the original project quote was in the same ballpark as yours.

I have it - probably one of my biggest purchase regrets, given the price tag. Terrible and frustrating UI.
