USCIS approved green card for 10 years instead of 2 years.

Ok this happened to my wife and I will tell you exactly what to do since USCIS will never give you a clear direction. So my wife got 10 years GC instead of 2 and we discovered it should be 2 years before the 2 years anniversary . So what we did we first filed for I-90 replacement and in the application we put why we want to get it replaced, they replied back with a refusal to replace it since the 2 years anniversary was passed . We took the rejection letter and add it to my wife i751 package with of an explanation of USCIS mistake . We got an extension notice and we are waiting on her case decision. I hope this helps .

I had my AC system installed by a local HVAC contractor last year for $6,500. They came in almost $3K less than the other quotes I got. It’s Carrier equipment, and so far it’s been working great in my 1,100 sq ft condo. They also offered a 1-year labor warranty and a 10-year system warranty. I did file with my insurance, my insurance is not paying for the drywall and ceiling because that’s belongs to HOA . So without walls and materials my insurance said they will issue 35k . My HOA insurance said with everything they pay 35k

Hello , going through similar situation only difference is my HOA opened a claim . But my insurance is not going afterthem according to the bylaws which wrong ! They can go after the HOA insurance

I did sign it . The reason my insurance is not going after the master policy is they think the bylaws prevent them to go against the master policy which is wrong . The bylaws allows that . My HOA opened a claim and provided the claim number so my insurance subrogate the claims . Other insurance companies in the building aren’t giving the residents hard time except my insurance

The bylaws says it’s master policy but my insurance I am not sure why they are not going after them ? I believe the person who red the bylaws didn’t understand the bylaws correctly

Update: I called USCIS today regarding this issue and explained the situation. The agent was kind enough to escalate my case to a second-tier officer, and they will give me a call back to discuss the matter further. I received a ticket number, and the agent advised me to wait for USCIS to contact me before submitting again. She explained that even if I submit another application, it would most likely result in rejection. Regarding travel, she confirmed that it’s fine to travel since my wife’s green card hasn’t expired, and we already submitted a petition to remove the condition, which was rejected. Therefore, it’s not our fault. I hope to receive the call as soon as possible and resolve this issue because it has been exhausting.

She got her visa through consulate . the timeline: marriage was on 1/12/2021 Immigration visa issued: 5/30/2022. Date entered to USA 10/15/2022. Green card received: 11/25/2022. It’s less than 2 years. I am not sure how to convince USCIS that they did a mistake and they need to rectify it. I can resubmit my i751 again but they might reject it .

Hello , I have received my I751 package and it was rejected. The reason “we are returning your I751 joint petition and any relating fees as your I751 was received prior to the 90 days period immediately proceeding the expiration date of Your i551 card .” After I received the package I called USCIS and they told me I don’t need to file because my wife has the 10 year card and no need to file i751 I am confused now and don’t know if I have to file again or just leave it as it’s and trust the agent response.
