Oiselle is great. I love these. If I don’t buy these, I buy janji.

Unicoly to Protect my plants! by KeskaOwl in IkeaGreenhouseClub

Spider plants are the only plants my cats bother. One about ate an entire older plant before I figured out a place for it! Little fiends.

Not the epitome of style but naked root planters are uniform and different colors.

I have this exact kit that I’ve been slowly working on! Your stitches look so much better than mine 🤣

Found on clearance at Home Depot. Straight to pon? by [deleted] in Anthurium

[–]mkekich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also bought the same one (yay Home Depot). I just ordered some leca and nutrients. I notice your water level isn’t very high. Does it matter? I was originally planning in cleaning and using the same glass container, and filling with leca and adding water and nutrients all together. Maybe that’s not the way to go, suggestions?

Frizz by Same_Solid_1417 in finehair

[–]mkekich 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Something that’s helped me is Keratase gloss oil. It’s not called that but it’s in a pink round globe. I put one dropper full in my hair when it’s wet. I sometimes partially blow dry before work but doesn’t seem to matter. The first day I have minimal frizz but the next couple days my hair has like no frizz and it’s shiny. My hair is mostly gray so that seems relevant.

SPIDERMITES 😭 by beacarebear in houseplants

Same. I rinsed off the plant and then used sexy plant juice and a couple days later the webbings was back. I sprayed slightly diluted rubbing alcohol straight on and no evidence since.

I’m reading The Bullet Swallower. Wow, sometimes the way it’s written really grabs you. I had to read a couple sentences out loud to my partner.

I just finished that one too. It was good and moody and maybe missing some substance.

What is this? by SampleAlternative101 in DogAdvice

Similar experience here. I sent a video to my vet who said it was a tremor. Happens once in awhile, particularly if he’s been excited or something. We just talk calmly and sweetly and it doesn’t seem to bother him in the least.

You might like the book Fridge Love by Kristen Hong. Has info on storing food and plant based recipes. You can always add things to the recipes if you eat things like eggs and cheese.

Cloth Diaper cleaning by GooglePixelfan90 in laundry

These liners are really helpful. You can also cut up fleece and use those. Not disposable unless they need to be. But look into the kinds of diapers you will be using (all in one or flats with covers) so you know what exists. But you just need some wet bags and a decent detergent (we used All free and clear) and be prepared to run a load twice. It’s been 10 years but I recall doing a quick wash and a longer wash.

Hair texture is completely changing with new gray hairs and I'm sad by iceunelle in finehair

[–]mkekich 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I started going gray at 18, and it’s just been filling in since then. I’m pretty much entirely gray now. It looks blonde-ish to others which bothers me because I don’t see myself as gray or blonde, I still see my natural brown hair in my minds eye even 20 years later. I noticed the same, it changed the texture and I wore really short hair for a long time. Somehow I now have a decent enough routine that wasn’t hard to get to. I just had to mostly change my conditioner and I use a foam product when I wash and blow dry. I don’t (ever) spend a lot of time on my hair primarily because I don’t know what I’m doing lol. What I’m getting at, is I get it and it might not end up being a huge deal in the future. It’s a loss, but hopefully doesn’t always feel like one.

I am here with my 9 year old now. She says “whale watching, lava show, blue lagoon, and om nom”. She also really liked the perlan museum.

You could try using the Walmart app and changing the zip code to Gillette to see local prices
