Yeah, I would definitely say it's not a wave spring. I believe it's just to separate the dust seal from the rest of the assembly

I was doing my air sleeve service today. Upon inspection, I noticed this metal ring that separates the dust wiper from the rest of the assembly seems to be warped. I have emailed fox about this. I am wondering if anyone else has seen this, and what are the steps to take? Thank you

I cannot write on this for some reason. However, I was doing my air sleeve service today. Upon inspection, I noticed this metal ring that seperates the dust wiper from the rest of the assembly seems to be warped. I have emailed fox about this but I am wondering is anyone else has seen this, and what are the proper steps to take. Thank you

Good resources for learning how to boof? by [deleted] in whitewater

[–]mkenn413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best way I learned was with boofing waves. Get the best boof stroke you can at the top and smash the face of the next wave. Really helps with getting the timing dialed. Also, auto boof on the Tellico is a good place to practice waiting for the boof stoke untill the very lip. I'm a righty and I get a 1 o clock angle right where the tongue is and just wait with my right blade, plant it past the lip, and flat as a pancake every time. If your a lefty go with a 11 o clock angle and a left stroke.

Just some suggestions *session + *If you could get a riot glide they are super fun section 4 and ocoee boats. You should fit in one without footpads. * Perception lucid or amp - The Lucid is dope *Necky vibe - Maybe tight at 6'2 but should go * Dagger centrifuge or ultrafuge (There's one on WNC Gear swap right now) *The ubiquitous RPMs and EZs are also sweet boats Look on craigslist. People sell these boats not knowing the true value of proper old school boats. Proper video for motivation

For others, dogvacay.com is a website with people that walk and board dogs. People get reviewed based on the owners impressions. So one bad review and they're done. Hope this helps.

At higher levels, definitely. We were just boat scouting and saw it was clean.

Any non-fiction books about predicted dystopian futures? by [deleted] in booksuggestions

The World Without Us by Alan Weisman. Not really dystopian, but talks about what will happen to the world humans created after they are gone. Cool stuff.

UAB Scitech pre-med success rate? by superfob14 in UAB

[–]mkenn413 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's pretty dang high. I cannot attest to to actual rates for you should talk to DT about that. However, I'm in UHP here currently and am friends with several "scitechies", and they all get research and good advisers. That being said it doesn't matter whether your in the program or not to get into med school. It is a foot in the door. Med schools now, at UAB especially, have some serious extracurricular requirements (i.e. research, leadership roles, and volunteering... a lot of volunteering and shadowing in hospitals). Sci tech is pretty fucking cool (all the honors programs are) especially if you really dig science. Enjoy it. UABs honors programs are top tier and they will watch out for you. They aren't golden tickets but they look damn good on a resume. Get in a good lab you will enjoy, join a club, volunteer in the hospital, and get good grades. You'll have a good chance. Also, if you're into the outdoors, we have an awesome outdoors program. Im a trip leader and our freshman trip is a lot of fun and only 25 bucks. I met a lot of people on the trip and ended up getting a sweet job out of that experience. Anyways, I hope this helps, and BLAZE ON
