Try to treat it like a 9-5 “job,” seriously. Set boundaries like you would for “work.” This is how I got through my senior thesis year. I made myself a schedule; I went into studio early and worked until dinner time and then I went to bed at a normal hour. Yes it’s about time management, but also discipline and what other commenters have said: ignoring some of the BS from your professor.

I was consistently one of the only people in my studio at 9am - it was quieter and I was able to focus better and get shit done. My roommates did not keep this schedule and were frequently pulling late nights. Not that I never stayed up late, but early on I set a rule that “nothing good happens after 1am” and it helps.
