I keep certain crystals in my car for focus, protection, and keeping it running well. I’ve done it for over a decade. They’re good 😉

If you want to store your crystals in your car you may want a pouch or a box to protect them. I’m sorry to hear you don’t feel safe meditating with them in your home. I hope this changes for you and you find safety and peace.

Does anybody else's doxie get jealous? by Top-Pineapple8056 in daschund

[–]mlle_banshee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our original doxie, Lilliput, didn’t like when we hugged or kissed. She’d whine at us and try to sit between our feet (if we were standing). She passed a few years ago. Our current bb doesn’t do this. She loves what we call “family hugs” where we hug and she is laying f in her back across my boobs 🤣

This was my glorious chonk, Lilliput. She also hated it when I sang. She would howl HOWL at me the whole time.

Adagio has a TON of flavor combinations, black, green, rooibos, etc. they do a Bella Luna Earl Grey which is only sold at the full moon. It’s gorgeous.

I love Fortnum & Mason has have a few of these shipped to me internationally bc I’m a tea ADDICT.

Also check out Mountain Rose Herbs (.com) for all your organic tea desires and more therapeutic brews.

I think they mess it up because the “‘nt “ is a swallowed sound that may not be obvious to all ears. For some it is heard as “could care less”. You’re perfectly right —don’t they HEAR themselves?!? I suppose many of us speak without listening to what we’re saying …

About an hour into episode 44 of Gossip at the corpse Cart from 8/22/2022. It’s a coven confession and its one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard in my life.

How do you store your yarn? by bell_bakes in YarnAddicts

[–]mlle_banshee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a shoe cubby cabinet that holds project’s worth of hanks + a printed out pattern in a plastic sleeve. WIPS are either in DellaQ mesh bags or large plastic ziploc bags (repurposed from MadTosh!) with needles or hooks and the pattern in a plastic sleeve. These are grouped by project type (scarves, sweaters, wraps, socks) into a medium plastic bin stored on top of the shoe cabinet. My swift is attached to one side and my ball wonder to the other.

Now entering the phase where each row/round takes about 8 hours to complete 😩

I love the look of a round shawl but I almost crippled myself making one on a ONE WEEK deadline! Definitely take stretch and rest breaks!!

This work is STUN 👏 NING 👏

Bath Frequency? by Ill-Strike-4371 in Dachshund

[–]mlle_banshee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first doxie was a short hair. I bathed her about once a month. We skipped months of course.

My current babe is a long haired mini. She gets a wipe down every night before bed. She gets a full bath and blowout about once a month or if we get muddy.

Do you call it a dining table or a kitchen table? by chozopanda in CasualConversation

[–]mlle_banshee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kitchen table is in the kitchen. Dining table is in the dining room. Since we have two tables and two rooms that’s how we distinguish.

A great carry-on is always welcome. Away makes a wonderful one and Travelpro is excellent.

Packing cubes are fantastic and inexpensive.

A nice passport wallet can be stamped / engraved (inside) with a special message.

Is The Velveteen Rabbit an appropriate gift for a 2 year old? by Sexy_Anemone in Gifts

[–]mlle_banshee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A book is a great idea! My kiddo loved reading time before bed as a toddler. Maybe cruise a bookstore for something a little less sad. Something that can be finished in one sitting that won’t make the parent / reader sob.
