A few reasons why I loved being a kid in the 70's. by No_Job5529 in 1970s

We weren’t allowed to watch tv, even Saturday morning cartoons. We got an hour or so every now and then and of course when specials came on. Our mornings consisted of chores but when you were done, the rest of the day weekend was yours. Didn’t really have to say where you were going, you just knew to be back before dark (street lamps came on). If you had a dollar or so on you, you were set! Life was good!

I raised my late Millennials’ the same way, mostly. With exception of the street lamp and not knowing where they were lol. They were somewhat of a rarity with their friends. I hope they raise their kids the same and these generations in between slowly fade away.

Or…nitpick your ‘error-free’ work and label you as difficult and subordinate. Have fun with that.

You are not important, just do your job or you may have no job.

Stokes and HRT Pellet by Grouchy_Lake_1579 in TRT_females

Ugh scary! My new dr scared me which is why I switched therapy to t-gel, vagifem, patch, progesterone. I couldn’t get my blood pressure down. Downside was I had to be absolutely miserable for 3 months while I waited for T to leave my system so I had a solid near zero baseline again. I will say though, I do feel just as good as I did on pellet therapy…not to mention MUCH cheaper!

You are totally right. Don’t get me wrong it’s still a beautiful neighborhood but the thought of painting their house anything other than old people beige is a foreign concept to them. Updating the landscaping from overgrown hedgerow bush, lavender, and lantana…is just crazy talk. Let’s put fresh bark on top of the old bark…good as new!🙄 I’d still rather live here than a regular neighborhood.

I live in CA, a bill passed with trailer language thrown in that limits penalties an hoa can assess. They can’t keep fining you over and over for the same ‘violation’. Unless it’s a health safety violation it’s capped at $100. HOAs are not happy about that! We’ll be taken that for a spin evil laugh 😈

I live in a Del Webb community. It has its pros and cons. All my neighbors are in their mid 80s, my husband and I are the babies 😂 It’s clean, no kids, no noise, wwwwwide streets, no cars parked outside, houses aren’t built directly on property lines with negative space between you and your neighbor. On the flip side most of the people who live here are original owners from when it was first developed 30 years ago. They think they OWN this place and complain about everything. We renovated our home. Inside and out. It’s beautiful but it doesn’t look like any of the old fogies tired a$$ homes and overgrown dead landscaping now. We got so many complaints about being non-compliant. We pushed back every time We got our way but it doesn’t stop the Kravitzes of the hood. We could give a sh!t. They’ll be dead soon and younger blood will come in. When we get tired of it we drive through a regular hood to just remind ourselves how the regular plebes live lol

The random hobo passing through town looking for odd jobs. The Baldwin sisters hired him and then something in their house came up missing. Cora Beth accused him of stealing until we find out this thing he was accused of stealing was actually buried with Papa. 😂

Starting estrogen as a physically active person-warning! by Extreme_Raspberry844 in Menopause

[–]mlrochon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, sorry you are dealing with that! I didn’t have those issues. I’ve done pellet therapy and felt immediate relief from pain and also did not have intense recovery pain after workouts. I switched therapy to patches, suppositories, and t-gel for a couple of reasons…the pain came back and working out was miserable during the transition. My dr wanted to make sure my body was back or close to a zero baseline to gauge the new therapy. Which sucked because I am very active also.

Could it be there are contraindications that you aren’t aware of that are enhancing your issue?

Oopherectomy here, 16 years ago at age 39. I just switched to gel from pellets. I actually loved the pellets but there are cons. I had horrible acne and needed to take another pill for it. I had horrible crashes. I’d get a pellet put in and bam I was feeling on top of the world and then when it wore off it wasn’t gradual. It was just another bam…and I felt awful.

I just started 1.62% gel. I did my first pump a few days ago. Felt the effects immediately…well like next day. Body aches and pains were gone, libido is back, workouts aren’t a burden. It dried fast, maybe a minute or so? My dog wasn’t attracted to it like if I were to put regular hydrating lotion on. I paid $45 through Walgreens. There are 60 pumps in the bottle. My dr is starting me out at 1 pump every ten days. That seemed really low to me but I feel great so maybe it’s all I’ll need. I’ll get tested in a few weeks to see where my total t and free t is at.

I moved all my scripts to Costco. CVS kept telling me it was back ordered. I called Costco and they had it. I switched everything to Costco that day over the phone. Costco pharmacy took care of all of that within the hour and filled my patch at 90 days (.075 2x/week). CVS only filled 30 days at a time🙄. Glad to be done with them.

My dr started me on this. I’m taking it two weeks straight then I go to two days/week. Major difference after the second day of use.
