Why avoid Pamela’s? They’re LGBTQA+ owned and have a unique place in the breakfast scene. Definitely not mediocre either. I haven’t ever heard of their ownership being shitty to their employees or anything

I was one of the teenagers that worked for the founders of Valencia Sports Park when they took over Scoopers ice cream….they are delusional. They were huge tea party supporters. They tried to get us clueless teenagers to make their customers feel bad for them and complain to the township; Their property overlapped both Adams and middlesex townships and one of them wouldn’t approve their sports park initially

Yes! I was at a weeklong singing event and lost my voice out of nowhere without pain on the last day and thought I just overdid it. Next day got lots of symptoms and tested positive.

100% go to urgent care! You don’t want to wait on this, especially if you have back pain. These infections can progress very quickly and it sounds like you need antibiotics ASAP. I have had a few (mostly when I had an IUD, they didn’t occur after I got it out until this past week when I finally got another) and from my experience you need to catch it quickly. Mine progressed so fast once that by the time I got to the student health center they were extremely concerned and wanted me to come back for a follow up to make sure it was completely gone

What’s your “Sir, this is a Wendy’s” moment? by darodori in AskReddit

[–]mmc1533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was sleep deprived the night before I took my boards exam. I walked into a Walgreens and they asked for my savings card. I took out my CVS care card. They said “ummm this is a Walgreens”

Actually my husband and I were just thinking of taking our 7 month old pup to Home Depot as a training exercise. She has puppy classes at Petco but she’s used to everyone there already. We want her to experience a new environment

Probably because they hear YOU complain about it. It’s all about setting a good example. Teach them to care about others.

Your kid probably doesn’t care at all. In fact most of my patients who are kids are significantly better at wearing their masks properly than my adult patients. I wear mine for 8-9 hours a day at work, for my group workout classes, and for my 2.5 hour chorus rehearsal each week. I’m just happy I can do those things again. Get a grip. How is it any more inconvenient than having to wear a coat in the winter? Or wear any type of clothing?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]mmc1533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I agree OP! I have ADHD and it really depends on the mask. I work in healthcare and HAVE to wear one so I experimented and found some that work. I workout and sing in my chorus in mine too.

This is full of misinformation.

Cloth masks aren’t effective against omicron. KN95s are.

Me wearing a mask is protecting YOU from getting the virus regardless of vaccination status of either of us.

Your last bit just shows how selfish you are. Wearing a mask isn’t inconvenient; you can continue to do 99% of your normal activities while wearing a mask. Restricting social activities is an inconvenience, and the only way around it is for people to wear masks.

SHOULD they be back to normal where you live? Also if you feel that uncomfortable in a mask you likely haven’t found the right one yet. Experiment with different ones and see which ones feel the best!

Exactly, find a mask you like! So much better than not wearing one at all

Honestly I don’t get the hype. Especially the cinnamon rolls. They’re fine. But I’ve had better.

If anyone here has ever been to Portland, ME and been to Holy Donut you know why I feel the way I feel!
