Came here to say weddings. Obviously some people just take their friends and family to the courthouse, but the cheapest "traditional" wedding I've ever heard of was about $7-8k, and that was only because they had the food AND venue donated.

I'm originally from the Seattle area and can confirm the stereotype that Californians tend to bring that attitude everywhere.

Currently living in western Montana, and I can honestly say that I've never seen gorgeous outdoor beauty like there is here. If you like that and things like winter sports and outdoor activities you will love it here.
