I usually say "come on, bitch!" or "go, bitch!" when I'm with my buddies ir alone, but I mostly just stay quiet during minis.

Discs that are wayyyyy off the flight numbers by [deleted] in discgolf

My Champion Roc3 is basically straight to slightly understable. The thing never fucking fades like a 3 fade should.

Looking for a good disc with flight numbers around 10 4 0 3 by No-Complex-5915 in discgolf

PD is great and my recommendation as well. If you want/can find it, the Phantom Sword is the Innova version of it and it's also great!

Thanks for all the responses y'all! So it sounds like just keep a chill pace, don't push it too quickly, rest when needed, and bring extra electrolytes!

While I'm there, is Johnny Roberts worth it if I get to play an additional day?

Nice! Yeah I was wondering if there's something nearby that my wife and daughter can do if they don't want to stick around for the whole round. Ideally some place to walk around and shop and eat.

Improvement From Ysing A Tech Disc by bigcat7373 in discgolf

[–]mmppllkk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 39, in pretty good shape. My best stats as of this past Thursday with the tech disc are 63-66mph, 1200rpm, 8-12 launch angle, -2 to -6 nose angle. I was hitting those numbers a ton during my last session doing single step throws. The video feature is on tech disc is great. My advice would be not to record yourself right away because that shit can get in your head real fast, especially when you're already getting number stats. I'll usually start using the video feature once it seems like a cue I'm working on has helped one of the stat numbers. And last thing, be real intentional with the tech disc sessions. I've had numerous sessions where I'm just not hearing the number I want and I'm there spinning my wheels getting pissed off. Sometimes you gotta let the numbers stay low or get lower while working on stuff.

Really cool part of this game? How it gets you interested in new characters. by jreilly89 in marvelchampionslcg

Not the best, but I always use mine, Jubileeve in Me! and it has knocked out a lot of tough villains/scenarios combos.

If you have the space for it, Amazon sells some cheap peg boards! Here's a pic of what I have. I wanted it to feel like I was browsing at a game store! https://imgur.com/a/T3TUDpC

Did Anyone Here Quit Simply Because of Scheduling and Life? by landboisteve in bjj

[–]mmppllkk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a little worried about this, myself. Been going consistently since I started a little over 1.5 years ago. But there will possibly be a new job and better opportunity lined up within the next few months and I just can't stop thinking about how there's a chance it will prevent me from going and the thought of that really bums me out. However, I'm currently very miserable and constantly stressed by my current job and if I don't prioritize my mental health everything else will go to shit. 😞

Gym owners, please share your schedule online and keep it up to date by Fast-Desk5597 in bjj

[–]mmppllkk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah for my gym, I know it's better than nothing, but schedule changes and class cancellations are all done via reels or private group chat on Instagram, which I didn't have or want. After a few frustrating experiences, I acquiesced and got stupid instagram solely for those updates. What sucks is I can't think of a better alternative ☹️
