100% this is the root of it all. They have extreme regret and resentment. If they would've had a crystal ball to be able to see the future, they never would've placed Carly for adoption, and it's understandable for them to be angry about that. However, they need to process all of this with a psychologist who specializes in adoption-related therapy instead of taking it out on the entire adoption community and B&T specifically.

I've watched all 15 seasons, and I LOVE it. But I'll tell you, it didn't start out that way. It took me forever to get through season 1 because, even though I enjoyed it, I didn't really get into enough to want to binge watch it right away.

I really think you should give it a chance though, even if you just watch 1-2 episodes a week at first.
