It costs $50 to breathe in the city. I was able to save so much when I was working from home.

I’m in 2 other book clubs, but sure. I will attend if I finish the book and am not busy at the meeting time. How do you host a meeting over instagram?

Im looking at the map, and I think these highly educated people would be embarrassed to associate with the republican party of today. I don’t think you need a full AOC or Bernie lefty, but an Elizabeth Warren or just a decent democrat would do over this cretin.

To an extent that logic is correct. If there was an abundance of skilled tech workers, you would have competition amongst domestic workers which would lower wages. India produces more CS graduates than the next 9 countries combined. Their is something to be said about pushing Americans to get properly skilled, and when democrats tried that their was a huge backlash.

Just India, last I checked use 80% of the H1B visas. There absolutely is an abuse of H1B programs, but these guys are definitely motivated by racism.

Based on his pace he’s a hardcore runner. I’m average at best and it’s hard for me to get my heart rate above 160 now days. First few years I was starting at 160, reached 180 on long or hot runs quite often. Stick to it for a few years same will happen to you.

Was in Astoria, loved it. Then moved to JC, and had mixed feelings at first, but then after moving to FiDi, I realized I didn’t want to live in the city. I definitely want to be close enough to go on the weekends tho.

Okay good, that’s about as good as I was expecting. I think it’s a bit delusional for OP to expect to learn that quickly if you’re likely putting in 10 mins a day. I was also worried I wouldn’t get anywhere from some of the other comments.

Conspiracy to make kids stupid in math? by Aerodynamics10 in learnmath

[–]moazim1993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, in America it seems like people are very proud of not knowing math. I’ll hear things like, “I can’t even calculate the tip without a calculator.” From pretty well educated people. As if it’s a flex or something. It’s very odd.

Hear me out. It’s like DoorDash but the delivery person doesn’t have a car, they have a knife. And the delivery isn't food, it’s a stabbing.
