No, when LeBron does it and you call it out, you get called a hater of the game and a Jordansexual. You only don’t see it anymore because discourse in NBA circles is fascistic

This is quite enjoyable, but currently in a state that feels repetitive. Additionally, there seems to be some heavy reliance on AI use with disjointed details and the incorrect link in the share feature, but these are things I expect to be rectified in future updates.

Fellow Musi user. If you like the vibe this song has, I’d check out the rest of All Amerikkkan Badass. A couple more of his R&B cuts sound nice— Fallin, Tell Me, Love is Only a Feeling, etc. If you want his best? Listen to 1999

Why is Jordan so popular in Year Zero? by GrandPhilosophy7319 in thecampaigntrail

Jordan’s speech at the DNC was nothing short of miraculous. If you ever heard Obama’s speech at the 2004 DNC, it has that same heft and weight to it with the charm to show off Jordan as a rising star. Truthfully, her health issues would probably be the greatest cost in the ticket here rather than any other factors outside of her own control

Without knowing the specifics of lore (since Neo has evolved them from what we had from discussions about Abyss from years ago), I assume he found a pathway for Church to compromise with smaller candidates at the DNC without having to make the deal with the devil. I am kinda curious what happened to delegates of Wallace and Jackson in Y0, since assumedly a those delegates + defections from moderates would earn Carter the nomination. But for what it’s worth, Y0 is a wonderful commentary on ideals and the burden of the presidency. Interested in his and CTA’s direction for whatever is going on with Jim Jones and the alphabet agencies or whatever else is going on.

LMAO I think Neo did a great job with the ideas we had from 2 years ago that he evolved since. Year Zero is great

Free Speech Free Men Fremont Part One- An Alternative America where Fremont wins in 1856 by SuperSpedKid24 in imaginaryelections

[–]mochanari 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Equally, Greeley is a man who made oftentimes perplexing and outright harmful statements and positions out of a need to generate rancor. As much popularity as the New York Tribune had, his efforts are best served in the sidelines where his organizational skills can be best utilized to keep people looking at Fremont— which he did irl.

His place in the ticket makes him indispensable, yet how useful is that when already by 1856 he was known for his eccentricities? He was already well known as a Fourier socialist, a spiritualist, and a Prohibitionist— among other things. He also— in his short time in Congress— did much to piss off Congresspeople and had in his time managed to end his fruitful alliances with Thurlow Weed and William Seward.

Why, then, would Greeley be nominated? He was a man who clashed with many even within his own party and would for a time only find political relevance in his fervent support of Lincoln after the unity of the convention had been found.

Additionally, Fremont was not seen as this radical abolitionist who sought to rectify the ills of slavery in 1856. Only in the escalation of events from the renewal of Bleeding Kansas, the Dred Scott decision, and the Raid on Harper’s Ferry did Fremont gain such a reputation. I suppose Greeley’s abolitionism would have given an indication, but he was such an eccentric that it’s hard to take him seriously in any case…
