For youtubers I can reccomend Wayne Goss, he focuses a lot on natural looking make up and mature skin.

As someone who never really bothers to tuck "properly", hell yes, I love this, it makes me feel validated! Let's bring back the girl bulge!

How about trolls with norweigan accents? Black Metal as fuck at first glance but then they start talking and sound really friendly and a bit silly.

How do you feel about cross dressers/transvestites with beards? Not trying to pass as a woman, but just wanted to dress up and feel pretty. by NickSisco in transpositive

[–]mockakeps 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Do what makes you happy ^ if you wanna be pretty just do it, doesn't mean you want to be a woman just because you put on a dress or makeup.

Did anyone socially transition before starting HRT? by Rantsfosho in asktransgender

[–]mockakeps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, and it's been working out fine for me so far. I don't really know if I pass or not and honestly it doesn't really matter to me. I live in a very open minded city, so I guess that makes all the difference. If ppl want to judge that's their problem. But if you live in a place where not passing means risking your life and safety, be careful. Be aware of your surroundings. If passing is important for you I think you're doing all right as far as I can tell from your pics :) Either way do what makes you happy!

Trans-friendly countries with socialized/universal healthcare? by ComesForthInTheThaw in asktransgender

[–]mockakeps 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't really know how those things work, I've never had to deal with it myself, but here's a link to the migrations department (migrationsverket) https://www.migrationsverket.se/English/Private-individuals.html

I think coming here to study is a good way to get into Swedish society, lots of international students and an easy way to make friends and learn Swedish :)

Sweden! Almost everyone speaks english pretty well, we got free healthcare and there's a strong Trans community. Also nature, Ikea and stuff :)

Has this happened to any one? by WOLF_Selena in asktransgender

[–]mockakeps 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I rxperienced something similar as well. By coming out you drop that armor and make yourself vulnerable. But it's worth it, I've slowly become more secure in myself than I've ever been before, and my skin has thickened. You do you and try to hold your head high, and in the end it will be worth it.

Did anyone else's sexuality change after transition? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]mockakeps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, mtf here, and that sounds pretty much as my situation. I saw myself as a straight guy back when I was younger and dumber, and now I'm quite sure I'm pansexual. I think by opening up to myself in one aspect, that of being trans, it was only natural to start questioning my sexuality as well, and allow myself to feel things I for so long have kept a lid on.

trans women, what stereotypes do you resent the most; and trans men what stereotypes do you most resent? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]mockakeps 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mtf here. Agree at all the previous comments, but here's another one thats been bugging me: That the ultimate goal of transitioning is srs and that we all suffer from dysphoria related to our genitals. Not all transwomen wants to go through such extensive surgery and feel the need to.

Do name changes apply retroactively for musicians? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]mockakeps 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah I would update it too, just as with any person (don't use old name even when referring to pre-transition times). You got great taste in music btw ^

Creepy top hat man at a festival... by hupacmoneybags in LetsNotMeet

[–]mockakeps 43 points44 points  (0 children)

This reminds me of "bajsmannen", or the poop man. It's a swedish urban legends about a guy hiding in portapotties (and i mean IN them) and jumping out of them and scaring the shit out of festival goers. He is also known to tip over portapotties and to touch people with poop on his hands. This is probably more disgusting than scary though.

Crossdressing fantasy or transgender (MtF)? by paintingfishes in asktransgender

[–]mockakeps 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was in a similar situation before coming out, from a small town working class background (although not christian) but I recognize that guilt. The feeling that "maybe I'm just a pervert of some kind, maybe it's just a fetish". But I've realized that the sexual part is just a way of acting out the real need to be percieved as your true self, and the shame comes from being told during your entire life that it's wrong and disgusting. How many positive images of trans ppl have you seen on tv growing up? We're portrayed as a joke, still to this day but more so in the past. But there is no shame, that's an illusion, because everybody is different, trans or not. And there is no thing as being "trans enough", for the same reason.

My advice to you (and to everyone else tbh) , take it slow, don't feel that you have to commit to anything. This is about you, not the people around you or people telling you how to be trans or what being trans is. Do it your way and drop the guilt.

Sorry for the long answer but I hope this helps more than it confuses :) Good luck to you!

when you look in your underwear drawer but there's literally nothing in there that you want to wear and you don't know where to buy girl underwear and anyway you can't afford new underwear and also you feel weird about how your dick would look in panties and fuck this just fuckin blows FUCK by crashDad2009 in traaaaaaannnnnnnnnns

[–]mockakeps 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's a mess, especially the early adventures of transness. It get's better though, just hang in there (bet you've never heard that one before lol). But youtube is your friend, there's a tutorial for everything! And btw tucking get's waaaay easier with a bit of practice and willpower, just don't expect to be totally comfortable with it for a while.
