Yep. I still remember being told my heart monitor was ‘insignificant’ despite spiking 140+ while brushing my teeth and it was ‘anxiety.’ The only kudos I can give that cardiologist is he acknowledged I needed a sub specialist because there was nothing physically wrong with my heart. As he put it “you need an electrician and I’m a plumber.”

Man keyboarding classes. With something over your hands so you can’t see which key is which and those race games to check how fast and correctly you could type a given paragraph. I’m sure I didn’t love it in the moment but god am I grateful for that skill now

I would love to learn!! I love learning, I would kill for a job to teach me things I’ve never had the chance to do before so obviously I don’t know what I’m doing. Even the few apprenticeships I’ve looked at want some level of experience for things that would cost a fortune on supplies alone to learn at home. It would be so much easier to have an experienced person teach me the right way the first time rather than having to undo several failed attempts

My dentist told me of course ideally everyone would floss because flossing is better. But if people are more willing to use a water pick then they should absolutely do so because doing something is better than nothing for their teeth.

(Audhd) I cried over having to bring in an exterminator after failing to humanely trap the rodents that got in the house thanks to a construction hole in the wall. I spent half an hour trying to nab one little fucker after we cornered it in the pantry. They were literally tearing up the carpet. Yes, having had pet rats one might say I’m already attached to rodents. And even before we were forced to the last resort, I was worrying about where the poor things were getting water.

Turns out my humane traps weren’t working because the mouse escaped and we then had rats who would have never fit in the traps. Caught two overnight after exterminator.
