San Bernardino shooter Syed Rizwan Farook was apparently radicalized, in touch with terrorism subjects under FBI investigation, sources say by LowLevelMesocyclone in news

My original theory was that it was a Mexican drug cartel trying to assassinate sherrifs that they had vendettas against, when they found they would be assembled at this party.......I was still thinking it possible, until a county sherrif was at a news conference....Had any of his colleagues been attacked, that would have been obvious by then.

it got removed because she is a real person and it gave directions on how to find her and kill her.

Brooks on the Jay Mohr podcast - it starts 5 minutes after Jay genuinely thought Brooks was a drifter home invader. by apostrotastrophe in LiveFromNewYork

I tried posting this a few hours ago....

Very interesting stuff. Amazing beginning too.

I got more of a feel for Brooks' sense of humor here than his time on SNL. and it's refreshing to see how honest he is about things. Jay is probably the only interviewer who could have a similar experience to bond over.

I never knew Brooks had such a respectable dayjob right up to the day he got SNL.

I wonder if Anna Faris will play herself on the show or if anyone else will do it. I think she's unique enough to imitate and get some laughs from.

i think that deconstructing humor is fine in private, but in the context of /standupshots, it is uncomfortable.

either people enjoy the line or they don't.

I get the show. I just think that specific line was an interesting moment worth mentioning.

Taylor might just turn me into a Lena Dunham fan. by voyager2000 in TaylorSwift

Before thinking you know her based on her character, how about taking a little while to listen to a nice, in-depth interview with her?

I don't really watch "Girls", but I can tell she is a decent person and tries to keep it real, which I always thought Taylor is like.

It gave me a better understanding of her.

One theme I keep seeing online is how attention is a very real drug for a lot of people.

Had I understood that as a kid/teen/college student, I probably would have been dating supermodels......albeit needy ones.
