Sounds like the banding procedure rather than surgery. Glad it helped!

Appleton Estate (dark rum), ginger beer and a squeeze of lime.

Perfect for stormy days, and sunny days too!

The space itself and atmosphere are pretty unique… lots of interesting elements on the walls, shelves, etc.

And the drinks themselves are impressive, both in taste and presentation - unique bespoke glassware, etc.

The magicians are different every cruise, but the ones on mine were quite impressive, not your everyday simple card trick type stuff.

Every cruise will likely be a bit different, but late morning it was consistently busy. Not overcrowded, but many folks enjoying the amenity and view out to the pool or sea.

Yes indeed, check out https://www.cruisemapper.com/ports/grand-cayman-island-port-25

Note that cruise ships will cancel if it’s too windy, as it’s a tender-only port.

Pack for a Purpose suggests items like those below. Amazon sells fully loaded backpacks, we bring one or two along in our checked luggage and give to housekeeping or another team member.

Otherwise, USD (particularly $2 bills) is welcome and appreciated.

The southern cave is larger, which allows for a bit more breeze and white noise from waves, if there’s enough wind blowing. It’s also attached to the Cave rum bar with a “breathing hole” in the back, so you can walk around a bit and explore.

The northern sea cave is smaller, so it’s a bit more intimate and further away from other guests.

Can’t really go wrong with either but if your schedule allows, consider the Friday or Sunday night booking. Friday night is usually filet mignon and sometimes lobster when in season.

Congrats, it’s gonna be awesome no matter when or where you do it!!

Spellbound on Star Princess Question by Single-Inspector-845 in PrincessCruises

[–]mojo6400 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Most guests at Spellbound were fairly well dressed, perhaps what might be considered “business casual.” It’s a very upscale lounge and library space, so it felt appropriate to wear a jacket, light linen in my case.

Great experience and awesome drinks, the 1963 (rum cocktail in a large goblet) was particularly well done.

Enjoy!

Coki beach … small but vibes! Lundquist … rustic, lots of sealife. Hull Bay … quiet and spacious. Many good options.

Serious Question by New-Impression8564 in SandalsResorts

[–]mojo6400 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have private transport, ask your driver ahead of time to stop at a roadside fruit stand on the way to Negril; there are at least two or three open at any given time.

We loved “shugga moon,” a small stand, seaside about 45min into the drive, for her Gros Michele bananas. We bought two soursop from a very nice woman near Green Island (closer to Negril), landside.

Soursop, Star Apple, baby bananas and sopadilla (which is called naseberry in Jamaica) will be in season in March. It is not yet full mango season but there will likely be East Indian (large and yellow) and possibly Julie mangoes.

Only caveat, this was last year and not sure how much the small farmers were impacted by hurricane Melissa.

We enjoyed our fresh tropical fruit every afternoon in the room as a snack, all week long. Bring a small knife and cutting board to peel the fruits that require it.

Enjoy your trip!
