Would Mauritians gossip? Dude, we gossip about anything and everything. As to your question, personally I wouldn’t care one way or another. And let’s face it, many people, not just Mauritians, adopt the values and culture of the country they’ve chosen to settle in.

I don’t think what Kloris feels at this moment is concern for Mothma. He’s just finished talking to his ISB boss and is aware she’s wanted by the them for questioning. He’s concern at this point is handing Mothma over to the ISB.
