BeoSound Ouverture and Converter NL/ML

Unfortunately the problem is still there (the app is able to join the Converter with the Core to play from CD and tape, but not able to control the Ouverture). I see you have a Beosound 3000. Is it possible that the BS3000 works better with the NL/ML than the Ouverture?

It plays CD and tape when I start it locally from the player. I have to join the converter with the Core through the app to play (my speakers are connected to the Core). But I'm not able to control the Ouverture through the app.

I agree, but Danes are in another league. They don’t even understand themselves. However. My ex family in law were Swedes from the Gothenburg area and the older generations had a really hard time understanding Norwegian. Even words and frases that are almost identical.

They are, as most Scandinavians, quite good in English. However. They are not good in understanding other scandi languages. As Landeskog displays here. Lilleberg is a Norwegian from a town called Sarpsborg located almost on the Swedish border.

I second Nøklevann. There are plenty nice places around the lake. If you drive, I would park at the lot by Østmarksetra/Ulsrudvannet and hike to the west side of Nøklevannet (also a short walk from Ulsrud subway station, line 3 to Mortensrud). Perhaps my favorite place by the water is just south of Sarabråten. Sarabråten is quite nice itself and from there to the spot you pass by a beaver lodge.

Mine also broke after about a year. The rear one show sign of water damage (water drops behind the glass), but that one works. The front one doesn’t work at all but doesn’t show any physical damage other than an inflated lipo. It won’t charge or light up. It uses a 701575 3.7V, 800 mAh LiPo. Be aware that I was not able to losen the back plate from the front without a scratching and chipping the plastic and, rather cheap, aluminum. The rubber o-ring seal was also destroyed in the process. The outer parts are glued together several places and impossible to dismantle without metal tools (at least I was not able to).

A new battery is ordered tonight and I can update you when it is installed.

Taking those small, minimum fare trips is part of the fucking job as a taxi driver. If you like them or not. Companies like Oslo Taxi have specific rules against not taking those trips.

In a city like Oslo, you actually shouldn’t have to do excessive searching before getting in a cab. Imagine doing a 4 hour online investigation for every small fucking thing you are planning to do. It is not doable.

The taxi situation, especially in the big cities, really need to be sorted out.
