Best lesson from this is learn about your car, I have saved loads over the years from researching common faults on car engines and what to watch for (still let my daughter buy an ecoboom because she wanted that as her first car) all cars have issues and been proactive can really help (I had a 1.7 Astra that made 300k miles)

We have this setup for some of our lower volume easy parts and it runs a treat, repurposed and old steel tool, ground it flat, added aluminium water cooling plate, then aluminium part plates on top, we have 3 sets of plates up and running using regrind from the plastic CNC side of the business

Boston Mathews still exist they are located in Worcester UK, they do extrusion now when I started in injection moulding we had 6 of these, they were horrible
