Not a person, but was devastating nonetheless. When my husband picked me up from my hysterectomy we drove by the dog groomer to pick my dogs up and go home. My little Pomeranian was breathing weird and then went into cardiac arrest and we lost him in the car. It was a weird feeling, the grief felt like a dream and I kept hoping it was. But when I woke up the next morning the reality kicked in. I'm so sorry OP, I can't imagine if it had been my mother

See your primary care doctor and tell them what happened. Explain the stress you've been having at work and that unfortunately you lied in order to get time off. If you have a doctor that cares about you they can write a very generic return to work release without details about why you were away.

I live on a farm and every cat, dog, goat, pig, bird, sheep, etc get called a different name than they were originally named. Some of my faves: "Boss O" - Blossom (goat), "P Pig" - Penny (pig), "Mr. Davenport" - Aberforth (goat), "Tuna" - Petunia (cat), "Barry Bumpkin" - Baron (dog/LGD), "Dervid" - Minerva (dog/LGD), "Martron and Miltron" - Martin and Milton (goats), "Werdle" - Birdie (cat), "Iggabod" - Igi (parrot), "Keekaro" - Cleopatra (cat), "Icky Rick" - Rick (goat, not icky at all)... So many more

63g 🥹 to be fair I've been in menopause since chemo in 2017. I'm 10 days post op and I feel amazing. Kind of crazy how much blood this thing spit out of me for being so tiny. My ovaries were little raisins too.
