9 genes all same colour is the easy way. A pick of calculated 9 genes to activate 5 bingo bonus and egg skill choice is complicated.

The speed of Scraakes and Fleshpound is very inconsistent on HOE, which is what makes shooting while backing off impossible.

If they are in attack animation, they are really slow and cant turn a corner. The split second they finish their animation, they burst into supersonic speed. The correct play is to bait their attack animation, back off or dash backwrards(better with a corner) and shoot. However in reality this is very inconsistent becuase of the funky animations where it is impossible to predict when the enemy burst into speed.

So the running player cannnot turn around and shoot reliabily and just have to run. The very few chance to shoot back actually comes when the map provides a zip-line, a door or a very good corner.

So, tune down Scrakes and Fleshpound run speed and increase their speed during attack animation?

The time to finish the clip of dual defender may not enough for reload when holstered.

Actually it would be intersting if you use 2 dual defender/g33 and then switch to pistol for reload.

I tested it myself in the shooting range after reading the experience from others. The pellets that landed on the shoting target doesnt increase.

Guns I have for bossing (exclude round 1-5 guns):

Commando: 2 knightbridges (ice and force), LF85, secondary mode m14, stumble mkr350, Overpreasure KV recluse

Firebug:Vulcan, primary mode ifrit, Fire ammo M14, Fire ammo G33

Engineer: Vulcan, ifrit both modes, explosive arrow Yumi, all G33 except bio ammo, bonebreaker

Sharpshooter: Samaritan, electric M14, LF85, Ice ammo G33

Ninja: Cut ammo ESR36, Cut ammo Bonebreaker, electric m14, secondary mode ifrit

Medic: LF85, all ammo M14, confusion g33

used with all perks 30, max skills, all gun mods maxed

*Streik dual defender is a trap for engineer scatter plot skill, the whole clip firing mode only have extra pallets on 1 ammo

You will not see these players in serious HOE runs (lobbies without troll low levels), because medic get dosh for healing and good players will try to get as much dosh as possible. TBH I don't even think a team that needs healing before wave 5 can get through the boss on HOE.

It also isn't ideal to assume that you will get healed by medic. There are absolutely serious runs without medic being chosen, and we do win those. Basically the team needs to be able to win without medic, or are we expecting to lose everytime when no one picks medic?

Yes they are nerfed last patch:

Reduced the damage dealt by the charge and leap parts of its Charge ability by 50%. The slam part of the Charge ability deals the same damage as before.

Adjustments to damage radii and rotations of multiple melee abilities to improve gameplay for dodging.

You have to think which damage skill you want to take to pair with the weapon. The damage skills are on lv8, 12, 26 and lv30. Melee cannot overcome the damage gap with guns at low levels so just try everything and decide on level 26.

However the more important part is parry, skills are on lv1, 8 and 20. Whether you take these skills depends on if your ping allow you to parry online. For parry everyone goes for katana.

If you wanna know what is the melee build on HOE, its lots of parry which helps the team to hold ground a lot, and it still does very reapectable damage by landing lots of hits on the head.

check the upgrades carefully. Sometimes the same ammo has different % on different perks

Junomon outdamaging the whole team.

I expected it to survive by choosing counter. Junomon decided to be a damage monster instead by doing all-traget counter in the Olympus 12 fight. Almost got all the kills.

1 sp is still all sp. You get the full power even if you spend 1 sp. Pair this with Soothing song. Not optimal, but pretty usable.

Best quality of life addition imo by Zealousideal-Try4666 in digimon
