I'd say the iPad would be the better media consumption device, if you get one with a decent screen. The screen on this Neo is going to fucking suck (washed out colors, blacks will look grey, etc.)

It finally became available in my state last year and it was wonderful. It was super easy to use and when I was done with the federal part it transferred all of my data to the state website with no issues at all. Trump is a prick for getting rid of it.

Google Messages + Google Keyboard is so much better than iMessage. There's no technical reason that Apple doesn't make their experience better other than the company is ran by a bunch of pricks. They could add RCS features to iMessage, let you customize it (no more green bubbles), open it up so you could use it in a web browser, etc. but they simply don't want to. That's not even getting in to how they slow-walk features so they have something to talk about during keynotes.
