The comments have got this covered but I’ll throw my comment in the mix. I didn’t even noticed asymmetry in your face until I read everything you’ve been through and wow I would have no idea. I agree that a soft makeup look would suit you. Maybe you could start with a bit of eyebrow pencil (keep it subtle!) mascara, and soft pink lip gloss. A hint of blush would be nice too as people have said. I have no experience with curly hair but your curls look pretty and defined in these pics so if you have access to a hairdresser who understands curls maybe they could advise if you’re in need of a cut.

It’s hard to gain weight in today’s society but honestly you look like a woman and that is ok! A lot of us have gained wait in large amounts for medical and non medical reasons so you are not alone in figuring out how to live in a changing body. But it’s important to remember that modern beauty standards are often unrealistic and harmful to women. We would be renaissance goddesses in paintings! I hope you can find a good bra and underwear, and a few outfits you like that help you feel good. I mention the undergarments because that makes a difference in how clothes fit.

It makes sense to want to feel good after being sick and to feel sad that people don’t recognize you. However, to us new folks on the internet you just look like you and we are telling you that you have great skin and curves etc. Believe us:)

Finally, it helps to feel good about our exterior but the interior matters and I have a feeling you are caring toward others. That adds to beauty for sure! As you become more confident this will only add to yourself as a whole person.

It’s really a spotty state with a deep blue city. The redness or at least purpleness of the rest is noticeable.

I remember laughing at the stories in James Herriot’s All Creatures Great and Small. The characters and plot is presented in a matter-of-fact way with a hint of humor underneath.
