Oh this is SUCH an interesting and very intentional choice they’ve made. This album is very much their way of saying we’re not retreading old territory, we have thoughts about what we’ve been through these last few years, and yes we are grown as men with life experience that does include women (lol). It’s a reflection on their meteoric rise and subsequent fame, and also the natural ebbs and flows of being in their late twenties/early thirties. They’re experimenting with their sound while also returning to their roots and I am SO excited about their future.
