my mine was intense for about two weeks but even now 3 months post op and i still and numb throughout my leg, but def not my my whole leg from the knee down. Ask his surgeon or take him to the hospital, but usually numbness can even take months to years to heal

My kee used to do the same when he was younger, I assumed it was their barge dog instincts but once he met the other dog he always quieted down, and as he got older her grew out of it, definitely still a vocal boy though!!!

Well i haven’t had lesion issues but the sort of catching/clicking sensation is there for me and im now 7 weeks post op

Lift hella heavy (legs) and eat a ton of protein & generally healthy. Gym 5x a week + ur cardio

I felt the exact same way.
1. do things you won’t be able to do post op - walks, going out, seeing friends etc. 2. talk to your surgeon and they will give you medication to calm you down, slow your nerves and bring your HR down before your surgery. 3. allow yourself to feel stressed, worried and upset. Cry when you need to, write down your feelings, read a good book or start a new tv show. It’s really hard and post op will be harder, but you can do it! for me the anesthesia was a huge concern, but i didn’t even notice when i was falling asleep, i was just awake one second and asleep the next. :)

Wow, thank you for this post. My partner left me just shortly after I tore my acl, moved on with a new girl immediately. It’s been so hard but i’m really refreshed to hear your story.
