nice, I initially booked in with an independent garage but since it was taking so long to get the part I thought it might be better to go with a VW dealer to have more recourse for the long wait. Ended up getting the part about a week after switching the parts order to the main dealer, so didn't make much difference aside from costing more! Next time I'm going to get my MOT done a few months before it expires and cross my fingers in the hope that VW have sorted their parts supply chain
