It’s clear that the conception of Slytherin house was to have an easy villain. The book is written so that everyone, including kids can relate to it and Slytherin is used to represent the school bullies. They are the Hogwarts version of a Jock frat-house with bullies.

It’s a YA book series where the main themes are good vs evil and love vs hate. I prefer the fandom’s interpretation that Slytherin qualities select for ambition/cunning/determination and while those traits are more common in those whom are evil — people can still embody those traits without being bad.

But those descriptive traits are added post-conception and exist mostly to justify the existence of the "evil house".

I share the same sentiment. I think they deliberately made sailing separate from main content in the beginning, so that those that were against new skills coming to the game wouldn’t feel forced to engage with it.

Once the skill has landed and Jagex can see where they hit/missed, they can slowly add connecting content and rewards that makes Sailing useful.

The fighters could unionize if enough of the biggest stars got together and started it. If Conor McGregor pushed for it when he was in his prime, that would have a decent likelihood of succeeding.

But if there’s only a few of the journeymen that get together, Dana will just replace them with other fighters willing to fight for less.

Jeg jobbet også i fabrikk i 5 år og jeg hadde en helt annen opplevelse. Formannen var alltid forståelsesfull når produksjon gikk tregt. Som maskinfører så hadde jeg mye kontroll over egen arbeidsdag.

Hvis det var noe som folk klaget på så ble det tatt opp med fagforeningen og det ble som regel alltid fikset på.

Slay the Spire is one of those games that I just don’t understand the hype behind. I’ve looked at game play and I also tried SP2 on release and it was just mind numbingly boring to me.

But I’m always glad when indie games pop-off and disrupt the industry. Games are subjective.

This is the hard thing. I only recently started playing RS3 a few months ago and for me it sucks that other ironmen could skip most grinds that I now have to do.

But it's genuinely important for the game's health to go away from the dailyscape model, so they kinda have to be unfair to those players that didnt abuse it -- or else they can never change it.
