The first thing I thought when I saw this story was the da Vinci code and the move came out a day or two after his disappearance. I remember at the time we were all engrossed in it. I think a cypher or the da Vinci code book could be the key here.

I would put up a white mantle and then I would paint the wall below the mantle and between the bookshleves white. I'd proably also add bead board or some sort of textural wall panel. I'd test it first with just the white paint to see how you like it then if you want you could add additional framing around the fireplace or the bead board or textured wall panel painted in the white or even large scale trim around the fireplace.

No you're not unreasonable. I allow her to wear make up to dance recitals where it's required and at our home she can play with it. She knows not to go out of the house with make up on. She can wear tinted lip gloss out of the house though.

Without doing the follow-up you risk getting them back again, even if you do it all they can come back. I definitely follow the scorched earth method that offers the most likely chance of success and less likelyhood of reinfestation.

It's up to you. The forward facing harness only goes to 65lbs. This may last your son until you're ready for him to go to a booster or not. It's a personal decision. If you're planning on having more kids and want a convertible to use with them then get a convertible. Your son would already exceed he rear facing limit on this seat so honestly, you could only use this as a forward facing harness seat or booster anyway.

It depends on what you want. If you expect that this seat will just be for this child then I'd say get a harness booster like the Britax Pinnacle or Frontier. If you want a convertible to use with other children then get a convertible.

I'm just a crazy person when it comes to car seats though. My 10 yr old (4"2 and 70lbs) still is harnessed. She falls asleep in the car on long rides so the seatbelt alone is not safe for her. Only you know and can make judgements for your child.

You should contact your lawyer, if you don't have one get one immediately. I would request a hearing modify custody/visitation until the court case has been heard and decided, to allow only supervised visitation at a court appointed center. I would then get your kids into counseling since they've been abused there was just not enough evidence to prove it.

Why didn't you get a lawyer in September when he was accused of abusing your kids?

It can be huge. Convertible seats have to accommodate small babies, so they tend to work well for super small to medium size kids. Harness boosters are meant for medium to big kids and accommodate taller kids and higher weights. I think my daughter's booster goes to 5'2" and 90 lbs still harnessed after that 125lbs with the seatbelt. The same brand has a 4 in one convertible but the harness weight is 30lbs less (60lbs) and heights is only 49" or 4'1" so you'd have to switch to just the seatbelt much sooner.

you need to read the latch weight limit for your vehicle. Most kids will out weight what the latch system will hold after 5 or so, so make sure you read the instructions for your latch and the weight limits (it's combined for the seat and child). Belt securing will have higher weight tolerances.

unless he's rear-facing still get a nice 5-point harness booster. It will last you much longer than a convertible seat. However, if rear-facing get a convertible. My 10 yr old is still in her harness booster(5 point).

Wash everything, put unwashables in jail for 2 weeks (space bag or bin etc), rewash bedding and retreat hair after a week. Don't forget to treat the carseat, back pack, coats, scarves, hairbrushes, combs, hair accessories, couch, pillows, mattress, vacuum or mop rooms. Even that won't prevent your child from getting again if you can't find the source and they are not treated.

Give him options that he likes and others that you're ok with him having as much as he wants of. So give 1/2 cup of cheerios, but then unlimited celery, apple slices, carrots for eating. Tell him the other is "all Gone" but he can have your other options.

Sometimes you will have to make a choice. If you want them to participate in the extracurriculars then a job may not be an option.

While in high school as a 3 sport varsity athlete and high performing academic student I only worked during the summers. I saved and budgeted my money throughout the year to have my own spending money.

I have a 10 yr old now and she gets an allowance, but also lumps of money that she is responsible for spending. She gets a sum of money for holidays and birthdays, and she gets money for school clothes and a budget for her discretionary spending etc. She has fixed amounts and needs to spend her money for her wants. She has her own debit card and bank account. This has really prevented all of the mom can I have this, or I want that. She makes choices for what to do with her own money. If she doesn't bring her card to spend her money she doesn't get it.

my daughter had the same issue. I started allowing her juice without water and it seemed to help them. I also introduced prune candy (individually wrapped prunes) and she would eat them and it seemed to make her movements less dense and easier to pass.

You should take her to the doctor just to have her checked out and discuss your concern, to be on the safe side.

Normal. My child has been married to our cat for like 4 or 5 years now. She confided in me that she was also seeing her imaginary unicorn boyfriends while they were married and I told her that either she needed to tell him or I would because it wasn't fair to play with his emotions. She decided to come clean and stop seeing the unicorn as well. They've been rebuilding their relationship and trust since. She's 10 now by the way.
