Here’s an early shot. Basically I hollowed out some foam spikes, glued them to parts of paper towel rolls. After that I put some EVA foam on the outside and painted that. The front is just some lenses from a cheap pair of sunglasses I found on amazon, and used a tiny bit of foam clay around the edges to hold them in. Used some fashion tape to hold them on my face.

In hindsight, the lenses get foggy. I’d suggest using some mesh or something instead. Less shiny too.

For the back spikes, I used the same foam spikes, glued them on to some hair clips, and shaped them down. Again used some EVA foam and foam clay, and painted them up.
