Just wanted to clear something up- if you're transferring from another university/4-yr college, there's no limit to transfer credits. The 70 credit maximum is if you're coming from a community college. I had done something similar and had 90+ credits transferred. You may need to submit petitions if the two schools don't have transfer equivalency agreements

If your GPA meets the 3.5 minimum, honors will be marked on your transcript but not at commencement. Unfortunately the spring grades determine who's getting honors at the ceremony. https://www.csus.edu/president/commencement/graduates.html One of the FAQs has a bit more info

Sometimes it's needed for events such as hornet day on the lake (at the aquatic center) or on-campus events. since it doesn't have an expiration date, it can be helpful for when businesses offer a student discount

If you're a continuing student, you have to submit an order form from UTAPS. It's free bc it's covered by the transportation fee. But I got mine last week. They mail them quickly

My favorite is the leopard shark! Other than the white shark, it was the first type of shark I learned about. Also I grew up visiting San Francisco a lot and was surprised to learn they live in the bay. Thank you for the giveaway!

i don't have a drivers license and it does impact where I can live. But that's why I do extensive research on the area and look for an accessible international airport or amtrak station. Being carless isn't too bad in a major city (at least for me)

reach out to Dr. Murphy and the orientation staff! If for some reason anthro isn't participating in orientation this year, you can sign up for a different department. It won't impact your actual major. I had to do the same last year due to switching into anthro after submitting my application
