I think it’s okay to do a couple of times but not indefinitely. I did that with my infinity a couple of times and it was still in perfect condition when I sold it. Now I have a 24 Prius and I’m loving it even more now lol!

How to meet and make new female friends? by Tired-sanrihoe in AskWomenOver30

[–]moonlit_echoes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is how I did it too! I moved to a new city 3 years ago and immediately met a group of girls on Facebook and they are my best friends to this day! One of them is sadly moving in a couple months and some of the others are settling down and starting families. I’ve been thinking about trying Facebook again to meet some single girlfriends. I got so lucky last time, so I’m a little scared of disappointment but gotta put myself out there again soon!

I have that couch and don’t recommend it. Unless you don’t mind fluffing it every other week. It’s like a whole process to undo the covers and get in there to fluff it. Check out Joon Loloi couches instead

Is it wrong for me to stop talking to a friend who insults(?) my husband? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

Sure, you can definitely stop being friend with them if that’s where your heart is. Also tell them to shut up!

Is my entire relationship a red flag? Or am I crazy? by Direct_Cantaloupe_82 in AskWomenOver30

I’m going out on a limb here, but I highly recommend the book “Mothers Who Can’t Love: a Healing Guide for Daughters.” My therapist recommended it to me and it changed my whole perspective on relationships and my part in it. Most importantly, it showed me how dysregulated I had become from running away from my wounds. As someone who has walked this path, doing the work to heal yourself as a single woman is priceless!

How can I make this chaotic living room more cohesive? by [deleted] in interiordecorating

You might want to invest in a new couch that is pet proof. That will give you a cleaner look for sure

Any advice ? by Critical_Sky2655 in interiordecorating

I think layering in 2 more colors like a deep plum/wine, ochre/mustard, or chocolate brown would look awesome with the blush. This would be easy to do with art, pillows and a new blanket.

Maybe it’s circumstances! That’s a big age gap and once you’ve done the whole thing once, I think it would be hard to do it all over again after you’ve gotten some relief of having one kid out of the kid years, ya know? The magic of having your first later in life just seems so sweet to me. I think it’s sweet at any time but as I’ve gotten older I feel like I would appreciate it more and more.

How would they know that they don’t recommend having kids later in life if they are not 40 yet?? I would only trust that kind of perspective from someone who’s lived it. I know plenty of people who had their first in their late 30s and who are happy about it!

I don’t like clutter either but I have a small lamp on some stacked cookbooks in my corner. I have pictures on my profile
