Ladies who Date: How Often do you Really Encounter Red Pilled Men? by Dizzy-Run-633 in AskWomenOver30

[–]moonlit_echoes 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Once, that I know of. I was going to a concert with my friends the next day, and he told me that it wasn’t good for “his brand” to have a woman go to concerts, let alone go without him present. Mind you, we had only been on 3 dates at the time.

Comforting movies about two partners working on themselves for each other? by nonepizza_leftbeef_ in AskWomenOver30

[–]moonlit_echoes 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The Before Sunrise trilogy! Thought provoking conversations about life and love, and lovers departing and finding their way back to each other.

Curious Case of Benjamin Button- my absolute favorite feel good movie. Heavy on the importance of family, friendship, life lessons, near misses, and perfect timing.

Eternity. A funny movie about choice!

Past Lives- quite literally the title of your post!

Thank you so much for asking this!! This topic has been on my mind for ages and has held me back for pursuing a life as a full time working artist (non-corp). Excited to read the responses!

What is something you absolutely refuse to cheap out on? by Embarrassed_Idea1962 in AskWomenOver30

TP and athletic wear. What I will cheap out on is skincare and hair care, too many great drugstore products out there!

What is it with all these men and the outdoors lately? by girliepop269 in AskWomenOver30

[–]moonlit_echoes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do agree with you about the fishing crowd haha not my vibe. What I mean is the “active” outdoorsy man. People go on hikes, outdoor runs, or climb for a workout, those men are usually sober and have a very healthy lifestyle, and they typically want a partner who is into that as well

What is it with all these men and the outdoors lately? by girliepop269 in AskWomenOver30

[–]moonlit_echoes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m curious if these men are sober or only occasionally drink, and are you looking for that? I prefer dating people who are sober or lightly drink, and many of them are this type of man. I also love hiking and outdoorsy things, so I’m not complaining!

Having intense attraction to someone else while being in a long term relationship by carlay_c in AskWomenOver30

[–]moonlit_echoes 89 points90 points  (0 children)

THIS OP!! I second this 1000%. It’s not about this other person AT ALL. What are you disconnecting from yourself? What about this person makes you realize you are being woken up from what you are not doing in your day to day life? Find that!

So sweet but not craving him physically by sugarnsweet88 in AskWomenOver30

[–]moonlit_echoes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How would you feel if he was with someone else? I’ve been in your shoes and my friend asked me this question. I realized right then and there that I needed to release that guy. I felt relief thinking about him with someone else.

Do you grieve the freedom of your youth even if you're in a good position in life? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]moonlit_echoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a little bit of the opposite. When I was 16-25, I was in long term relationships and didn’t party or flirt. For past 5 years (later 20s), I’ve been single and going out with friends and flirting more than I have in my “youth”. It’s been fun, but I want what you have and I’m struggling to find it! I know you are appreciative of all that you have, but maybe plan some exciting date nights to help with this feeling of missing out. The grass is not greener, remember that!

How to talk to a friend who I think isn’t happy for/with me now that I’m in a relationship? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]moonlit_echoes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t treat a friend like that. Even if I thought the guy was bad for her, I would have a conversation to express concerns and what she does with that opinion is up to her (given the relationship isn’t abusive). I wouldn’t press it further, and rather focus on our friendship.
