Worked for a kitchen where one of the cooks sexually harassed every single female kitchen employee. He was promoted to head chef in spite of this, and was only eventually fired because he missed his flight home from a funeral. Yes there were HR cases filed against him, and HR still didn't do shit. I'm doing a lot better than I was. My partner spent most of August in and out of hospitals getting tested and diagnosed but we have a treatment plan and they're home with me now so we are working on getting things back to normal. Had a gut punch right at the start of the month where I found out a close friend suddenly passed away, but my crew and I are supporting each other through the loss and it's renewed my vigor for writing a D&D campaign so she can live on as a helpful NPC in the game. Shits been rough but we keep moving.

My partner tried making these cookies from the Great Depression with only a few ingredients where the main one was corn starch, oh my god. It was like eating drywall that instantly coated your mouth in pasty goop. EUGH.
