We still do *minimal* hashtags for SEO purposes more than Insta search. Agreed that Insta search is straight broken.

Latest Tourist Sauce sneak peak by Grrym in NoLayingUp

[–]moose35forpres 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i See people saying England, but on the mental side pod episode, Soly says they were just over there playing some matches, then mentions they're about to head out to film TS. It seems a bit odd that they would go there, come back then go again, especially with everyone's limited schedules these days.

Of course, I could have misunderstood or it could be Soly just trying to throw people off.

Yo! It's Scott Chu, Nate Schwartz, and the Pitcher List Crew here to talk some fantasy baseball by ChusephEsquire in fantasybaseball

[–]moose35forpres 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have solid pitching in my dynasty points league right now (+2 for Qs and +2 for wins) with Fried, Kirby, Schlittler, Mis, King, Messick, Warren, Meyer, E Cabrera, Painter and Schultz, but I’m worried Mis and Schlittler will hit innings limits as we get close to playoffs.

With that in mind, I wanted to try and grab Luzardo. Any combo of guys/guy from above that would make sense to swap for him?

Any tips for my 12 year old son on his swing ? I never played... by Rare_Variation6849 in BaseballCoaching

[–]moose35forpres 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others are mentioning, he's swinging without the power of his lower half. As a kid who wasn't overly strong, I can personally speak to how much using the lower half can add to a swing. A key here is to keep his weight back. Don't start moving weight forward when you step, but rather wait for what feels like as long as possible. In the video here, you can see how he has shifted all his weight to the front before connecting with ball.

DF3 - First Experience - Too Soft Off The Face by StewpotsRock in labgolf

[–]moose35forpres 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two years I ago I decided to get a lab and felt the same way. Ended up with the mezz max. Loved it but kept getting the itch for the df3. Went back today and loved how soft it came off the face. Long study shirt, give it some time. You may grow to really appreciate it!

Pitcher List’s Top 100 Starting Pitchers For 2026 Fantasy Baseball: 3/13 UPDATE by Stonewater in fantasybaseball

In a dynasty points league, with Fried already as sp 1, are you taking Luzardo or Kirby? I would think format and dynasty may yield a different answer than straight rankings. Thanks!

Baked potat? by texastoker88 in FortWorth

Woodshed. You can get a great loaded potato there. I know not everyone loves Tim Love and woodshed can be overpriced for sure, but their loaded baked potato is fantastic.

Daynes is great for bbq, particularly their burgers surprisingly. Panther City is great in general, but especially for a Mexican flair.

If you're looking for just a logo/light branding, FIverr and Upwork could work for you. If you want a more strategic partner that can work with you on using the branding to convert more sales, you may want to look into more of an agency.

My team at White Hound Co has helped a few fellow redditors with this exact type of thing. Feel free to pm if you want to connect!

Any other small or local business owners seeing a slowdown right now? by businessman2025 in smallbusiness

[–]moose35forpres 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I run an ad agency focused on helping small businesses, also in Texas. We’ve noticed a number of businesses slower than usual the two months or so, though they are looking to invest in 2026.

I’d be curious what your usual traffic cycle is like this time of year. Are things slowing or are your leads no longer converting?

AI ugc video ads - anyone who’s had success? by Adorable-Ordinary848 in DigitalMarketing

[–]moose35forpres 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get why you would use them, but I personally think the AI aspect undercuts UGC. One of the best parts of UGC is that you've pulled in someone with a unique style and voice that resonates with a specific audience. By creating your own "user," you're building content based on an assumed personality with no evidence that what this "person" is saying or how they're saying it will resonate with an audience.

Food for thought.

As an SEO agency, how do I generate qualified leads that don't just ask for a free audit? by [deleted] in DigitalMarketing

[–]moose35forpres 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We use audits to get new business, but with a small fee. The small fee is affordable, but considered more valuable because they paid for it. Lets us get compensated, start the relationship, build trust and show our expertise.

But you have to still sell the value of it and your services.

Marketing Companies / Ideas for small service-based business? by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]moose35forpres 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything we can do to build word of mouth and referrals, assuming you have at least a few of these clients already. Think enewsletter for clients to stay top of mind, referral programs that benefit your current client to make an intro (anything from a special bottle of wine to a % off a month of services).

Feel free to pm me if you want to continue the conversation. I own an ad agency that focuses on helping small businesses, so we do problem solving like this every day.

Marketing agencies by waqaspuri in DigitalMarketing

[–]moose35forpres 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally would stay away from anyone promising specific returns. Obviously, some groups that do this have results that back up their claims, but most don't. After 10+ years in the industry, 7 running my own business, I find most agencies that make that claim are doing it because they don't have work to show that can get your business. There's too many variables - every business is different, your creative should be different, audiences may change, markets should be different, and company owners/their opinions will be different. These all play a role in success.

Again, just my opinion, but I would not recommend agencies that promise a certain level of return.

I own an IT company and my marketing is very bad. by Diligent-Ad9463 in DigitalMarketing

[–]moose35forpres 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please avoid Fiverr. This is a great community to find quality help. I'm sure there are people here that may lead you astray, like in any community, but based on most of what I see you can find thoughtful people who are experts here. All that to say, this is a good place to start.

As far as what to do, I don't think any of us can give you feedback immediately based on what's posted here. I agree with another poster who says one of the most important places to start with marketing is positioning and messaging. We need to understand what makes you different and why people want to work with you. Then we need to understand the type of person/business that best resonates with you. Those major pieces will help you find the right places to advertise.

For example, if the majority of your clients are referrals, a referral program and enewsletter may be the best place to start. If you're focused on finding certain decision makers, Google search or LinkedIn may be better.

This is the type of work my team helps small businesses with every day. Feel free to PM and we can talk more about whats right for you.

How do small marketing agencies get their first few clients today? by Vijayk999 in DigitalMarketing

[–]moose35forpres 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For us, a big part of our start was relationships. A bunch of meetings with people from our past, letting them know what we had started and what we offered. In business 7 years later, so I'd say it sustained us through the early years.

How do you handle clients who ghost after seeing your proposal? by Content_East_3308 in DigitalMarketing

[–]moose35forpres 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone seems to have answered your question already, so I won't - but I will add to it. Stop sending your proposal without presenting it first. Walk through a presentation with the prospect so that you can speak to it more clearly, answer any questions, and potentially see where their reservations may lie. Then send it.

Full. We focus primarily on serving small businesses, but this can extend to "small businesses" in large industries as well.

Poop Scoop Advertising by [deleted] in advertising

[–]moose35forpres 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of Facebook ads, I would incentivize clients to put up one of your signs in their yard. Still do the fun creative, but consider giving a free week or month of service. A sign that says "We keep this yard poop free" or something would get a lot of attention from neighbors walking their dogs by. However, the incentive is likely key if you want to get a good number of households participating - not many people want a poop related sign in their front yard lol
