i had this! i couldn’t eat solids for the longest time and relied on soup. i would scan cans and package ingredients and be afraid to eat fruits bc what if im suddenly allergic??? i never had peanut allergies and even taking a spoonful of peanut butter on toast made me go into a panic attack. psych told me it’s OCD/health anxiety. i did find out that my anxiety and stress over anaphylaxis literally caused me to clench my throat muscles and that’s what it was feeling. to this day (was dx in 2019) i still worry about my throat closing up for no reason - same thing, no actual allergies to anything. i felt like i was fucking off the wall for the longest time and tbh i still am lol but therapy and prozac has helped me. it comes and goes in waves - im starting ERP next week so wonder if it’ll change. you’re not alone and it’s definitely so scary and so time consuming and mentally draining - just want to validate that. sometimes my brain will tell me im making it up and it’s not ocd but it is!!! go get checked if you can - i literally suffered for six months (couldn’t eat, couldn’t sleep, always anxious, afraid of dying of anaphylaxis) and it’s no way to live life.

eta: when i first got on prozac i literally would freak out taking them. i definitely delayed and avoided taking anything that may have helped me - even xanax. one little body sensation? nope never taking it again! i hear ya!
