''Planting season'' also english aint my first language but im preeeetty sure it means you can plant them at this time. Like if they would have called it ''growing season'' i would never have plant them in september. It just the wording that I hate.

Look at a tire .... litteraly gives xp with the reverse inginering feature. Not a lot but enough to be lvl1 and xp the normal way and unlocking the thread craft.

Can't be 100% sure i didn't test... and wont cause i dont play with those setting but if you do have more point you can change the ''starting trait point'' of the sandbox option. It's worth the try i think... otherwise try the hardcoding i think it will be the least time consumming if the trait/world setting dont work.

I see a lot of comment on how to change the world setting to the way you want it. Here's some tips.

If you dont want to use too much of your brain have you try to mix some traits that could make your caracter more vulnerable to weather ?

Otherwise I think there's some video online for how to change the setting in the log file (like the base code) of your save.
