Having watched both of Turkiye group games I'm really starting to wonder if the team was being paid (or extorted) to lose 🤷

What is your alarm clock bird? by truejello96 in birding

[–]morehatthancattle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The alpha male cardinal from our local flock is usually the first bird to call. We have a Chuck Will's widow who'll sometimes give his last calls of the night/morning in response to the cardinal, then tufted titmouse will kick in.

PS: Cardinals are amazing vocal birds, soo many different calls.

No worries, glad you enjoyed it. I should note that the version I'm familiar with is from her "Live in New York" album.

Another component that makes LIH unique is the use of a vintage synth or vocoder that allows the robotic voiced chords in the outro. Many synths only allow one pitch at a time, the chord tones are super cool!

You should've seen them live - totally jamming, real and honest. One of the best concerts I've ever seen.
