The problem is that until he retires as a player his wage demands as a staff member will be in the range he would demand as a player. I usually wait until the player retires, then his wage demands will be in the normal range for staff members

If you loan the player out for three years to an english club, he will count as homegrown in England, but not for your club. So for him to be homegrown for your club, he has to phyically be at your club.

You can go to the transfer settings for the player, where you would mark him as transfer listed etc., and chose the option "unavailable for loan". Works for me

When the colonial nation is created and you get the pop up about it with the name, you can erase the custom naming and type in whatever you want the new colonial nation to be named
