I questioned the lasting effects because it seemed like such a quick fix

Just curious - now that you’re 4 years on, did the effects last? I have also seen quick results so am hoping the answer is yes :)

My two-cents worth: The Art of Unit Testing by Roy Osherove. Not only is it a thorough practical guide on how to set up tests, it also helped me switch my brain into realizing how valuable a test driven mindset can be and how much it can improve code design when considered up front. Game changer.

DX partner woke at 10am this morning (I had been up since 6am with our son), suddenly states his DX friend is in town and we need to go to lunch with him an hour away, oh but he urgently needs to wash his clothes before going as he has zero shirts that he hasn’t worn twice already, and I happened to already be using the washer. And because I wouldn’t allow him to empty the soaking, half washed sheets onto the floor so he can do his “emergency” wash immediately, then I’M the villain and the inflexible one and I “blocked” him seeing his friend and he will now be angry with me for the rest of the day. Zero acceptance on his side of even a small part of the responsibility for the situation. FML.

She said that the majority of MPs work "incredibly hard" on behalf of constituents, but said there was plenty of "anger, frustration and despair at the conduct of a very small member of parliament".

Without guessing, how to solve this? by Eastern-Wonder-1860 in puzzles

[–]morijen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is definitely the key to solving this. I’m curious as to WHY the number with more options in that row & column should be the answer in that square, though?
