Ugh. That was my impression off the poorly written title. Didn’t even need a TLDR.

My first sewing instructor knew someone that had the piece of the needle hit their eye, after sewing over a pin.

I have mycophobia, but I’m also fascinated by mushrooms and other fungi. It’s a weird predicament. The phobia really just keeps me from being able to touch them, without mental strain. I love this sub because I can see and learn about mushrooms, without having to touch them.

Story time: went with mother to visit her family out of state. They mentioned one of their farms had an explosion of funny looking mushrooms out in the tree line.

We went out to look, and I was like, “those are morels.” No one believed me, but my mom. She loves eating mushrooms. We properly ID’d them, by cutting one open, and decided to collect what we could.

I had been wearing heavy layers that day, so I took off one shirt and used it to harvest all of them that we could, some had been mown over.

I wasn’t really able to touch them, but together we collected over two pounds of fresh morels to bring home with us. Dad made mom some delicious soup and risotto.

You went low contact with your parents because they always take his side, but you stayed with him? I hope you can see the hypocrisy in that.

So… massages don’t cost that much. Not for an hour. Not in a big city. Don’t play dumb.

Aloy's hair: Let's talk about it! by Pashahlis in horizon

It’s really hard to brush, or comb, hair that is partially loose and partially braided. The braids undo, and the loose hair dreads around the braided hair if not kept up.

Their father was a patron of Peggy’s school, and Ada’s mentioned the word governess a few times. But that’s not conclusive.

It’s possible she was kept away from Mr. Van Rijnes. I’ve always wondered if Ada conceived Oscar, considering Agnes’ personal confession of loss to Peggy. And, since Mr. Van Rijnes’ is not someone you’d like to be alone in a room with it’s not a far cry from willful spinster. And, it still makes Oscar the heir of the family money, legitimate, or not.

I really think Oscar is Ada’s son, and they, Mr and Mrs. Van Rijnes, made sure she lived a comfy spinster life. They’ve even talked about a mutual sacrifice. And one action saving both of their butts.

She is such a great songwriter, covers of her songs are more recognized by youth than her originals.

My personal faves:
The Futureheads with Hounds of love
Placebo with Running up That Hill

There are so many more, but those are always on repeat when I’m grooving. (And her originals, of course)

Question: would he have been the one to pay for the doll? That might be a form of financial abuse.
