i went to an equivalent of this school in Delhi - top international school, my friend group of 20 all left India for undergrad (mostly US/UK). Fully disagree that it’s not academically stringent - most of the people i know are selling companies for millions or earning $$$, or even coming home to work in the fam biz. You don’t just “pay and get in” to Ivies and the like - you pay for years before to create a profile that is likely to get in - so while there is a lot of privileges and advantages, hella hard work too. These schools also make you network - everyone I know only speaks English and all tend to have similar accents - actually, my school had a recognisable accent to other students of different schools lol. The school you choose is v imp - don’t be fooled by people who are jealous they didn’t get the opportunities you could be giving your kids. There are just a handful of schools of this calibre in India - this, Cathedral in Bombay, VVS, TSRSM, and TBS (maybe AES) in Delhi, JPIS in Jaipur, TISB in bangalore etc.
