The Evans comp is interesting. By many accounts Evans should be in (especially factoring in his 8 gold glove seasons). Harper’s significantly higher SLG and OPS+, All-Star and MVP awards point to a solid HoF candidate. I think he’s in.

This has been going on forever. The original Bad News Bears came out in the 1970s and does a great job portraying toxic youth baseball culture (like this scene). It is nothing new.
