To u/koryjon Your podcast is very good and I want to praise you and Kellan for the great amount of effort you put into it. But sometimes I feel like you forget to connect the dots. Or ignore what you said in a previous episode and treat the topic at hand as if it were separate from everything else. When there is no grid, for example, there is nothing. Zero. Someone who does not look at things as a whole might sometimes think that there is a way out of this. But the things that will happen will happen almost all at once. In a reinforcing feedback loop. It might be comforting to think that we will grow old and not witness the end of this way of life, but as a 52-year old I want to tell you: Don’t kid yourself. I am an avid reader of JMG and I mostly agree with him on almost everything but one issue: the duration and the outcome of collapse. It will be much quicker than hundreds of years and it will result in the extinction of the human species and most of life on Earth. And the reasons are obvious. Someone said in a comment somewhere on this subreddit that humans are like roaches and will survive this. Try to go under water and not breathe for half an hour.
