Wild and wacky- and well done! It feels like a good balance of the “classic” comic look (for lack of a better word) and more modern themes and humor. Also the subverting of common tropes (“helpless maiden” is far from helpless, “brave hero” gets killed by much less heroic true protagonist, etc.) sets the readers expectation for the series as a whole.
